We Need Your Survey!
For the past several months we have been collecting surveys from local boards of health as part of the Local Board of Health National Profile Project. The purpose of this nationwide survey is to update demographic information, and to better understand the structure, functions, concerns, and needs of the boards that advise, set policy, and/or govern local public health in the United States. The last time a survey of this focus and magnitude was conducted was 1997, and much has changed since then! By updating this important information, you are helping NALBOH to formulate plans and develop programs that can help prepare and strengthen boards of health and empower them to promote and protect the health of their communities.
If your board has not completed the Local Board of Health National Profile Survey, please download a copy today. Please direct questions to Tim Tegge. NALBOH thanks the boards who have already participated.
